Brief Description

This High fibre cauliflower pizza crust is a great way to satisfy pizza cravings without the calories or refined/ processed flour bases. The only difference is that the ends don't go as crispy as the standard dough ones but hey sometimes you have to have a little sacrifice for the sake of health. If crispy is your ideal then you best to use a pizza stone in your oven. You can get super creative with the toppings so that it still tastes great!

How to:

  • -Pre heat oven to 200 degrees Celsius and a pizza stone if you have one.
  • -Steam cauliflower until soft. Then mash with a potato masher or food processor until completely softened.
  •  Place the mashed cauliflower in a cheese cloth (or dish cloth) and bundle it together to squeeze out as much of the moisture as you can (this will lead to crispier base). 
  • Add your bundle back to a  mixing bowl and mash/stir in the cheese, eggs, salt n pepper (any Tuscan herbs you may like to add in). 
  • Line a baking tray with baking paper and spread the mixture evenly in a circular shape to resemble a pizza base- about 0.5-1cm thickness for the base. Or you can make about 4 mini pizzas with this.
  • Bake in oven for about 30minutes until base looks golden.
  • Remove from oven and let cool. Then add tomato paste, sprinkle over your toppings like Parmesan or feta, basil leaves, mushrooms, shredded chicken or prosciutto 
  • -Put back into oven until cheese melts. Then slice up serve with side salad. 


Remember you can have fun with the toppings but remember the base is not as hard as traditional bases so lighter the better with toppings and not too much moisture i.e. sauces.
